01 · OVERVIEW
A forest shaped by teak, bamboo, water and open grasslands
Pench National Park spans Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Its Madhya Pradesh side has teak and bamboo forests, open grasslands, water bodies and the Pench River.
Part of the Satpura landscape, Pench has a long conservation history and links to the forests that inspired The Jungle Book. Its protected forests remain important wildlife habitat.

01
The Pench River
The Pench River gives the park its name and remains one of the defining geographical features of the reserve.
02
Winter wildlife
Winter brings migratory birds and increased wildlife activity, adding variety to what may unfold during a safari.
03
Varied habitats
Woodland, grassland and water bodies create distinct habitats within the same protected landscape.

02 · WHY THIS JOURNEY
Not a photography workshop. Not a packed safari schedule.
The journey is designed around the way a forest is experienced: early starts, repeated access, changing light, quiet observation and time to return, eat and rest between drives.
With three guests and one host sharing the safari vehicle, there is room to look, talk and engage with the forest without turning every available hour into an activity.
01
Small by design
Three guests and one host keep the group small enough for shared observation, conversation and space within the safari vehicle.
02
Four forest windows
Two morning and two evening safaris give the journey a clear rhythm without chasing every available slot.
03
The art of seeing
Photography becomes a way to observe the forest, not as a short course in camera settings.
